We Research & Teach

UConn Hartford builds on the scholarship strengths in Psychological Science, Human Development and Family Sciences, Social Work, Public Policy, Business, Law, Urban and Community Studies, the Sustainable Global Cities Initiative (SGCI), and other Hartford-based units. Our teaching faculty and our students leverage the campus’s proximity to state and local government, corporate entities, other regional academic institutions, and non-profit and arts organizations to enhance research productivity and serve the wider community.
